  • The Antenatal Clinic at Djerriwarrh Health Services offers supportive care for healthy women with uncomplicated pregnancies, from the first antenatal visit, to support in the first weeks at home. Our approach promotes pregnancy and childbirth as a normal healthy life event. A range of antenatal care models are offered, including midwife-led, obstetric and shared care services. Antenatal appointments are available Monday to Saturday, and include some evening appointments. Our Midwives are available to help make your pregnancy and the birth of your baby an enjoyable experience. Our Midwives are happy to answer any questions.

  • The Audiology Clinic at Melton Health (services provided by HEARLINK) uses a "sub-contractor" model to provide hearing assessments for children less than 16 years of age. We give priority to infants referred to us by the Victorian Infant Hearing Screening Programme (VIHSP), children whom have been referred to us by an Ear Nose and Throat specialist, as well as children with developmental delays, other disabilities, or who otherwise require a hearing assessment. Other private services offered include Diagnostic Audiological evaluations, Central Auditory Processing evaluation, hearing aid fittings or evaluation, tinnitus management, ear moulds including swim plugs, noise plugs and musician earplugs, as well as wax removal.

  • Autism Spectrum Assessment Clinic
  • The Autism Spectrum Assessment Clinic is a specialist clinic for children aged 0-15 (inclusive). The Clinic provides assessment for children suspected of having Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as follow-up parent education/support. Every child will be seen by a Paediatrician, as well as by an allied health team, which may include a paediatric nurse, occupational therapist, speech pathologist, psychologist and social worker. The Clinic is run by Djerriwarrh Health Services through the Paediatric Program at Melton Health.

  • Family Drug Help - SHARC
  • 24/7 Helpline: confidential service staffed by trained volunteers with lived experience of drug or alcohol misuse in the family, and or trained counsellors. Family Drug Help offers a range of educational programs and support groups for families. A fortnightly support group runs in Bacchus Marsh.

  • Family Violence Prevention Program (FVPP)
  • The Family Violence Prevention Program (FVPP) is an integrated program at Djerriwarrh Health Services with components designed to meet the needs of children, women, and men who have been affected by issues of family violence. Separate services for children, women and men, but family sessions are available where appropriate. Services include group programmes and/or individual counselling for children and women, and menÍs behaviour change group programmes for men. Partners/ex-partners/family members of men in the programme are also offered support. Childcare is provided to all programs at no cost to the client.

  • Provides free, flexible support to enhance resilience, health and wellbeing for families with children up to the age of 18, including those from new and emerging communities. Service delivery includes information sessions, group programs and outreach case management addressing risk factors that may lead to poor mental health outcomes.

  • Djerriwarrh Health Services provide specialised financial counselling for residents of the City of Melton experiencing financial difficulties. The Financial Counsellor provides professional counselling, information and advocacy in the areas of debt control/management and budget planning, as well as the provision of information regarding options available to financial counselling clients. The main target group for this service is people on low incomes. People who present with financial difficulties are assessed and assisted on the basis of need. The Financial Counsellor also offers group education sessions and consultancy to other agencies and organisations.

Our service does not accept direct referral from the community, as all referrals have to go through the Homelessness access point for Melton/Brimbank which is Salvation Army Social Housing and Support (SASHS).

  • Urgent Care at Melton Health
  • Djerriwarrh Health Services provides a "walk-in" service for patients with urgent, but not life threatening medical conditions at Urgent Care at the Melton Health campus. Urgent Care provides treatment for acute injuries and illness seven days a week. All patients who present to the service are triaged according to the Australasian Triage Scale and seen in order of medical priority. All patients are referred back to their nominated General Practitioners for ongoing treatment.

  • Urgent Care Centre at Bacchus Marsh & Melton Regional Hospital
  • Djerriwarrh Health Services provides a "walk-in" service for patients with urgent, but not life threatening medical conditions at the Urgent Care Centre at Bacchus Marsh and Melton Regional Hospital. The UCC delivers a service for people that require treatment for acute injuries, acute illness and short term medical problems seven days a week. Patients with a life threatening condition will be initially managed, referred and where appropriate transferred to a Health Service best able to treat the patient.
