Settlement Assistance is provided to newly arrived humanitarian entrants and family migrants who have been in Australia for up to five years. The broad aims of the program are to assist clients to become self reliant and participate equitably in Australian society - by fostering social participation, economic and personal well-being, independence, and community connectedness.
